What went well retrospective
Three questions: what went well, what could improve and what to try next. It is the easiest retro to run and a good default for any team.
Start this retro

What Could Improve
Be specific and constructive
What to Try Next
Ideas for the next sprint
When to use it
Use it when the team is new to retrospectives, when you are short on time, or when you just want a reliable format that needs no explaining.
How to run it
-
1
Start a boardGive it a title and share the link. Your team joins without signing in.
-
2
WriteEveryone adds responses to each column. They are anonymous.
-
3
VoteEach person votes for the responses that matter most to them.
-
4
Discuss and agree actionsTalk through the top-voted responses and write down action items with an owner.
Tips
- Give everyone five minutes to write on their own before anyone talks.
- Vote before discussing, so the conversation starts with what most people care about.
- End with one or two action items that have an owner. More than that rarely get done.
